The original Lading Manager Lite software that was written in 2000 has been replaced. That product was a great workhorse for producing bills of lading for well over 20 years.

Fast forward to 2024. Introducing a completely rewritten Lading Manager Lite.

The look and feel of the new Lading Manager Lite will still be familiar to you, and you will have little to no problems getting used to the new version.

Costs

Going forward, Lading Manager Lite is a subscription-based software. The standalone version is $24.00 USD per year, and the network version is $95.00 USD per year. Included with the subscription are support, upgrades, and installation assistance. Subscriptions are non-refundable and you must renew each year. (No automatic renewal as ALMSys, Inc. does not keep your credit card information.)

Installation of Lading Manager Lite

The new Lading Manager Lite is a Micsosoft SQL Server-based product. This requires the installation of either Microsoft SQL Server, or Micsosoft SQL Server Express. ALMSys Support will install and configure this for you if you wish at no charge for labor. There is also a method provided to copy your old BOL data to the new version.

You must have an Internet connection to register and pay for Lading Manager Lite.
