This page is used to store the detail lines that you commonly use for your bills. You do not need to add any equipment here in order to create a bill of lading. However, it will speed up the creation of your bills if you store detail lines that you typically use on your bills.
Data on this screen can be anything that you want it to be, but should be geared towards the most common items that you ship and/or print on a bill of lading.
The entire list of your equipment is displayed on the left side of the screen. This list may be sorted by either column. Click on the column title to reorder the list by that column. Equipment information is changed on the right side of the screen.
Adding an Equipment Entry
Press the Add button to add a new equipment entry. A new equipment entry will be established with "New" as its Part Number.
Each equipment line that you input must be assigned a unique part number (or I.D.). This number can be up to 10 characters long and may contain any character on the keyboard, except quotes ( ' or " ). Unless you use a large number of parts, it is recommended to keep this field simple.
The exact wording that you wish to print on the bill.
Hazardour Materials No.
The Hazmat code for the materials. Leave blank if not hazardous. You may also type characters into this field, such as an "X," to indicate it is hazardous.
The classification number for the materials. Leave blank if not appropriate or unknown.
The weight of the materials. This should be the weight including all packaging materials. Leave blank if not appropriate or unknown.
Press the Save button to save your changes.
Equipment information may be changed at any time. Simply locate the equipment in the list on the left and click on it in the list. Then, change the information on the right side of the screen as needed. Don't forget to press the Save button when you are finished.
To delete equipment, locate the equipment in the list on the left and click on it. Then, press the Delete button . You will be asked to confirm the delete.
